Information obtained by Yes Ghana online reveals that David Asante, Managing Director of the Ghana Publishing Company Limited and convener of the Let My Vote Count Alliance, was involved in a near-fatal Walewale-Nalerigu road accident.
It is confirmed that the accident happened on Saturday, October 10, 2020, when he was on his way from Bolgatanga to Nalerigu in the North East region.The Managing Director, who is said to have received injury, is currently undergoing care at the Baptist Medical Centre in Nalerigu.
His accident adds up to the number of political figures during this campaign season who have been involved in incidents.

Reports say a tricycle crossed one of the cars in his convoy and that caused the car to hurry and crash into the National Organiser ‘s car for the NPP.
