Boxing: Ghana’s Ebenezer Tetteh Suffers 1st Round KO Against Daniel Dubois

Ghana’s Ebenezer Tetteh encountered a huge chastening as he was knocked out on Friday at the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London by British Daniel Dubois in their Commonwealth Heavyweight title confrontation.

The two men were fighting for the vacant in what was Tetteh’s first bout outside of Ghana and heavily told about the shock of the new environment and new experience.

Ghanaian, 31, forgot to put his gumshield in his mouth before entering the ring and that was a foretaste of what was going to happen at night.

After spending two minutes of the first round experiencing Dubois ‘ jab, Tetteh was sent with a right-hand shot to the ground crashing.

After he got up, he was rained more punches by 22-year-old Dubois and floored again.

The referee decided at this stage that Tetteh was given too much penalty for his own good, so he decided to stop the fight.

Tetteh is now dropping 16-1 in his Dubois professional record to 13-0.
