King Promise, the sensational Ghanaian musician and winner of the TGMAs’ “Popular Song of the Year,” has responded to Stonebwoy ignoring his congrats.
He claims he bears no ill will against Stonebwoy and is baffled as to why his message was ignored.
It may be remembered that King Promise politely congratulated Stonebwoy on winning Artiste of the Year at the 2024 TGMA, but he did not receive a response on social media.
But Stonebwoy clarified that there was no malice or animosity. He said that he had only missed King Promise’s communication in the deluge of messages that followed the win.
King Promise voiced his viewpoint in an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon, adding, “It’s really up to him.” He’s not acquainted with me, so I’m not sure why he did it.
“We’ve shared music and chats together. We both contributed songs to each other’s albums, and we’ve known each other since before I went completely bonkers.
“I don’t think I did anything wrong by congratulating him, if that’s how he felt,” he stated.
