Bright, A Well-Known Painter, Describes How He Got An Agreement To Paint The Jubilee House

Bright Hozor, a well-known painter from Ghana, has talked about his incredible journey to be selected to paint the President’s residence, the Jubilee House, after officials found his work on Instagram.

He related how one evening, he got an unexpected call calling him to the Jubilee House, which at first made him nervous and surprised.

“At about eight in the evening, I got a call telling me to come to Jubilee House right now. I was anxious because I believed I might have accidentally insulted someone and was being called in. I went with a clear mind, but they insisted,” Bright clarified in Twi in an interview with Zionfelix.

When he arrived, Jubilee House staff members showed him his paintings from Instagram and expressed their admiration for his work as well as their wish for him to take on the renowned project.

“In 2021, I was privileged to paint Jubilee House. “It was an amazing chance that was entirely due to God’s providence,” Bright remarked, considering the importance of the task and the realization of a long-held desire.

Following the required paperwork and background checks for his team, Bright and his group painstakingly painted Jubilee House for ten months.

“I was overjoyed to see this dream come true. We were given the go-ahead to begin after presenting the cost estimate. We finished the painting in a month, and their response was incredibly satisfying,” he continued.
