Diddy Issues An Apology After His Ex-Girlfriend Gets Attacked In A Video.

Following the release of CCTV footage of him pushing and kicking his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel corridor in 2016, Sean “Diddy” Combs issued an apology.

The rapper said he accepted full responsibility for his “inexcusable” acts in the video, which CNN aired earlier this week, in a video that he uploaded to his Instagram page.

“When I did it, I felt disgusted. “Now that I’m disgusted,” he declared.

“I went and looked for expert assistance. I started attending counseling and treatment. I had to beg God to be gracious and forgiving. I truly apologize.”

“Dedicated to being a better man each and every day,” he continued.

However, Diddy’s new statement is “more about himself than the many people he has hurt,” according to the singer, model, and actress Ms. Ventura’s attorneys, who spoke to the BBC’s US partner CBS News.

Attorney Meredith Firetog stated that after Cassie and several other women came forward, he denied everything and implied that his victims were just for money.

It demonstrates his pitiful desperation that he was only forced to issue an “apology” after his repeated denials were shown to be untrue, and his bogus statements will not influence anyone.

The video looks to be a composite of perspectives from CCTV film dated March 5, 2016, although the BBC has not independently authenticated it.

The CNN announcer identified the man as Mr. Combs, who was shown in the tape slamming Ms. Ventura to the ground and kicking her while she was on the ground. Later on, he tries to hurl something at her and drag her by her shirt.

It was filmed in the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, according to CNN.

Mr. Combs had not yet offered a response to the footage.

“The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs,” Ms. Ventura’s attorneys stated in a previous statement.

The alleged attack shown on camera may be too old to prosecute, according to a statement released by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office on Friday.

Meeting when she was 19 and he was 37, the couple had begun dating.

Ms. Ventura resolved her complaint against Mr. Combs in November of last year for an unknown amount. In the lawsuit, she accused him of sexual trafficking and rape over a ten-year period.

Benjamin Brafman, the attorney for Mr. Combs, stated at the time that the settlement was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing”.

Since then, a number of more women have sued, claiming the rapper abused them physically and sexually.

As a part of a federal investigation into human trafficking, his homes in Miami, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, were seized last month.
