“I Don’t Understand Why That Individual Hasn’t Been Let Go,” Chastises Afia Schwarzenegger To IGP.

Afia Schwarzenegger has taken to the public to accuse the Inspector General of Police for failing to confront the ongoing disrespect that internet users show to celebrities.

In a TikTok Live session with Shatta Wale, the socialite expressed her dissatisfaction about the IGP’s unfulfilled pledge to address cyberbullying, which he had promised during a prior gathering with Ghanaian celebrities.

Looking back on the October 2023 meeting, Afia expressed her displeasure with the IGP’s inaction against cyberbullying and called it ridiculous and ineffectual.

“Do you remember our meeting with the IGP?” she recalled. That foolish assembly? He gave us his word that we would address cyberbullying. But Dampare, I can’t stand him. He had the attitude of a lost kid on the soccer pitch.

“He never tells the truth! What resulted from the pointless meeting? Really, I have no idea why Dampare hasn’t been let go. Why the dude is still there is beyond me. He is the reason Ghana is not safe. Nothing else matters to him; his appearance and publicity are more important.”

Shatta Wale added his voice to the discussion, pointing out that speaking up frequently results in being branded as impolite.

In response, Afia emphasized the idea of respect for one another, questioned the leaders of the nation’s self-respect, and made comparisons to biblical teachings on respect between parents and children.

Afia’s reaction coincides with what she claims are constant attacks on celebrities by critics and media figures.

She has already denounced what she sees as harassment-level intrusive questioning of celebrities’ personal life during interviews.

Afia also offered her thoughts on the current public conversation surrounding Fella Makafui and Medikal’s split, condemning the amount of attention their personal lives have received on social media.
