Despite Ghana’s abundance of natural riches, actor Kwaku Manu expressed his dissatisfaction with the government’s failure to improve individuals’ lives.
He underlined that the nation’s resources, which include oil, gold, and diamonds, among others, had to be sufficient to enable the government to efficiently oversee and grow the economy for the good of its people.
The actor expressed worry over the high unemployment rate, pointing out that many recent grads are out of work and finding it difficult to make ends meet.
Kwaku Manu also highlighted the detrimental effects on the lives of some government employees by criticizing the low pay received by some of them.
Despite Ghana’s modest size, its resources are abundant. In my early years, I was aware of the Obuasi mines and other mining activities. We have oil, diamonds, gold, and lumber. We always turn to borrowing and are unable to rule effectively despite our wealth and size.
“Educated people still experience suffering. How are government employees who make GH¢1,000 a day able to provide for two children? In an interview with Zionfelix, he said in Twi, “We have to face the truth.”

The president’s prior opposition to IMF loans during his campaign has also been brought up by critics, who draw attention to this and then contrast it with his choice to pursue such assistance after taking office.
