Shatta Wale Donates GH¢30,000 To Support Buz Stop Boys

Well-known reggae/dancehall performer Shatta Wale has given GH¢30,000 to the Buz Stop Boys, a volunteer organization dedicated to cleaning up Accra and other areas of Ghana.

This occurred on June 12, 2024, when Shatta Wale participated in the group’s cleanup effort in Alajo, Accra. Through his foundation, he supported the group’s operations financially in addition to lending a hand.

Shatta Wale complimented the Buz Stop Boys for their commitment to fostering a healthier and cleaner atmosphere during the event.

Additionally, he exhorted the young people to actively contribute to upholding cleanliness.

“I just wanted to encourage and support them while they worked on this. Since the system is difficult, as we all know, I believe that those who visit communities to ensure environmental safety deserve our support.

“So through my foundation, I deem it right to support their campaign, and I hope they would go on in making our environment clean to promote healthy living,” he stated.

Ghanaians have praised the Buz Stop Boys greatly on and off social media for their efforts in clearing clogged gutters in a number of Accra communities.

Shatta Wale has joined the list of celebrities who have come forward to aid the group in their battle against the nation’s sanitary issues.
