Vim Lady: Kennedy Agyapong Could Be Bawumia’s Campaign’s Rescue

Vim Lady, Afia Pokua, is a well-known media figure who has voiced her opinions about Kennedy Agyapong’s possible impact on the campaign of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and how that could affect the party’s chances in the upcoming 2024 elections.

She stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC), under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama, has had a more successful pre-election campaign than the NPP since Dr. Bawumia was nominated in the NPP Primaries.

Vim Lady feels that Kennedy Agyapong’s involvement could help the party, pointing out that Dr. Bawumia is having trouble answering previous remarks concerning the economy.

She suggested that Ken Agyapong could be the key to reviving the vice president’s flagging campaign during an interview on Okay FM.

“The NPP campaign was unclear, but with Ken Agyapong’s arrival, a new struggle appears to be in store. At the moment, Mahama is spearheading the campaign. Ken Agyapong’s involvement wouldn’t be necessary if the NPP campaign was thriving.

“There is no denying Agyapong’s influence, and some of Akufo-Addo’s actions have negatively positioned the party and added to Bawumia’s problems. Bawumia has looked to Agyapong as a bright light and a savior to address these problems and take on the required confrontations in light of the collapsing economy, skyrocketing prices, and concerns with unemployment,” she said.

Following Kennedy Agyapong’s discovery running for vice president during the NPP Ashanti Regional campaign trip, these statements were made.

A few members of the public also expressed surprise at the MP’s choice to back Bawumia in spite of their prior disagreements.
