Wearing Indian Hair Brings Misfortune, According To Ajagurajah

Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, is the founder and head of the Ajagurajah Movement. She has cautioned ladies against using wigs and hair extensions that are obtained from women abroad.

On April 2, 2024, he stated on Hitz FM that utilizing such goods results in ill luck for the individual.

He said that such hair is extracted from women through spiritual rituals and that using these hairs would draw bad luck.

He attributed the state of affairs on Africans’ disdain for their natural hair and preference for imported goods.

“You are bringing bad luck upon yourself if you’re the kind to choose Indian hair. Indian females hardly trim their hair. They only act in such manner when something is amiss. These women in India have all of their issues transferred into their hair when the priests cut it.

“However, they understand the African mentality; they understand that we embrace hair from other nations,” he continued.

He also counseled women to embrace their natural hair and to stay away from using wigs and extensions made of hair imported from other nations.
