At Bakano in Sekondi, a large mammal suspected to be a shark washed ashore.
It attracted a lot of people from all walks of life to rush to the scene to see the animal.
Even the stench of the offensive could not prevent the people from heading to the beach.
Some worried citizens have told Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan of Empire News that they are waiting for the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis Department of Environmental Health and the Fisheries Commission to either introduce measures to mitigate or remove the aggressive stench.
Ohene-Gyan confirms that no STMA official was around when he left the scene following repeated requests by the locals to move the dead whale
