Ghanaian high-life musician Bisa Kdei denied rumors that his once-promising career is on a downward spiral, stressing that he is now one of the country’s most sought-after musicians.
He is in high demand, he claims, despite what people say about his importance. He said the opinions of people about him do not bother him because in the music industry he is a force to be reckoned with.
Talking to Abeiku Santana, the “Mansa” hitmaker on Okay FM said that writing high-life song takes time and having a hit is sometimes due to luck so people shouldn’t mark him as an incompetent artist because he doesn’t get back-to-back hits as he used to.
Bisa who is still promoting his new song ‘Anadwo’ said, “Everybody is entitled to their opinions but for me, I’ve not slowed down at all. People are still booking me for shows and I’m about to start an African Tour”.
“I’m still in high demand, and yes, I’m still one of the Pillars of Highlife Music in Ghana”.
Bisa Kdei is credited with hits songs like, ‘Mansa’, ‘Brother Brother’, ‘Baba’, ‘Odo Carpenter’, ‘Apai’.
