President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has verified his dedication to guaranteeing peace and implying his sequence plans ahead of the December polls
The President, however, shows that his antecedent, ‘John Mahama’ whom he had taken out of seat, is not to be his substitute as the President addresses the chiefs and people of Wa.
I am going to return here and pay my proper goodbye and express my gratitude for the collaboration I received from you all when i was the President before the coming election. When I return, I will return with the man who is going to be my substitute. As we all know, the man I removed from seat will not be back as my substitute or as my traditional leader.
President Akufo-Addo also made mention of returning to the area with Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, as his substitute. He added that ”Our country is known as the leading figure for democratic governance all around the continent of Africa”.
