After A Resounding Victory Over Chelsea, Hearts Midfielder Salim Adams Said, “We Were Expecting Five Goals.”

Salim Adams, a midfielder for Hearts of Oak, has expressed his pleasure following the Phobians’ decisive victory over Berekum Chelsea, which allowed them to get back on track.

At Golden City Park in Berekum, the underdog Ghanaian giants defeated Chelsea 3-0 to record their first victory in seven games.

Adams put up a strong showing in midfield for the Phobians, earning him the title of Man of the Match.

“Because we are tenacious, we anticipated winning by five goals rather than just three. In the post-match interview, he stated, “We were very determined because we know we are not in normal times.”

The former New Edubiase star thinks it will give them more confidence before the next Ghana Premier League matches.

Our confidence is raised by this victory, and we are eager for the next match. We’re taking it match by match,” he continued.

After a short hiatus, the local topflight will resume in two weeks with Hearts hosting Aduana Stars.
