Asante Kotoko Loses Two Seasons With John Tedeku

Asante Kotoko’s defender John Tedeku left the team after the organization declined to exercise his option for a contract extension.

In 2022, the 22-year-old signed a two-year contract with the option to extend it for a third year with the Porcupine Warriors.

But after a turbulent season in the recently concluded campaign, both parties decided to part ways. Tedeku played in just 12 games the previous season.

The youthful defender has only made 31 Premier League games since joining the team, but he has already netted a goal.

Now that he is a free agent, the defender can sign with any team he wants to pursue a new experience.

Before the new season begins, the giants from Kumasi are already searching the market for fresh players to bolster their roster.
