Contract With Crystal Palace Is Extended By Jeffrey Schlupp

The English Premier League team Crystal Palace has extended the contract of versatile Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp.

Schlupp signed a new contract that will keep him at the South London club through the 2025 summer season.

With 230 games for the Eagles, the former attacker for Leicester City has been a vital member of the team at Selhurst Park.

“It is crucial for any Premier League team to have a balance between youth and experience, and to have a group of players who can lead the team both on and off the field,” stated Steve Parish, the club’s chairman.

“Will, Jeff, and Joel not only have a significant impact on the field but also exhibit leadership qualities in the locker room, embodying the essence of Crystal Palace and contributing to the establishment of an exceptional culture at the training facility. We are thrilled that they will be joining us for the upcoming season to support Oliver Glasner’s remarkable early advancements.

Will Hughes and Joel Ward also had their contracts with the team extended in addition to Schlupp.

Schlupp came off the bench in last Monday’s crushing triumph over Manchester United after scoring a thunderbolt to help Palace earn a draw against Fulham.
