Dreams FC Protests RTU For Fielding Players Who Aren’t Qualified

Following Real Tamale United’s (RTU) Ghana Premier League match on Wednesday at Dawu, Dreams FC formally submitted a protest.

According to the protest, which was submitted to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday, RTU fielded players who were not eligible.

The club captain and team manager of Dreams FC voiced verbal complaints prior to kickoff, expressing uncertainty regarding the identities of the RTU players during the inspection. This is what sparked the protest.

Before the game started, the match officials duly took note of and documented these objections.

Dreams FC has declared that they will not be commenting on the issue going forward because it is currently under the GFA’s appropriate judicial body’s authority.
