Ghana Defeated Challenging Opponents In The 2025 AFCON Qualifiers

The 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers offer a challenging group for Ghana’s senior national side, the Black Stars.

On July 4, 2024, in Johannesburg, South Africa, the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers were conducted. Ghana was assigned to Group F.

In 2025, Ghana will compete in the AFCON Qualifiers against Angola, Sudan, and Niger.

In the 2023 AFCON qualifiers, Ghana and Angola both made it out of their group.

Kwesi Appiah, a former player and coach for the Black Stars, is currently leading Sudan.

Ghana was seeded in Pot 1 for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

As a result, the Black Stars would not be playing formidable teams like Senegal, Egypt, Ivory Coast, the host country, or Senegal.

The clubs in each pot were seeded according to the most recent FIFA rankings as of June 20, 2024.

September 2024 is when the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers are scheduled to start.

Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON.
