Hearts Of Oak And Asante Kotoko’s Subpar Play Stole The Show In The Ghana Premier League, According To Kudjoe Fianoo

Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have been charged of detracting from the glory of the Ghana Premier League by Kudjoe Fianoo, President of the Ghana League Clubs Association.

The football administration stated that the league was greatly harmed by the two most successful clubs in Ghana’s subpar performances.

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak both had dismal seasons; Hearts of Oak narrowly managed to avoid relegation on the last day of play.

Kudjoe Fianoo blamed the two clubs for the league’s negative public perception when speaking with Akoma FM in Kumasi.

“The abysmal performances of Hearts and Kotoko have taken a lot of the shine out of our league,” he commented.

With 49 points at the end of the season, Asante Kotoko came in sixth place in the Ghana Premier League, 12 points behind winners FC Samartex.

Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, required a thrilling comeback victory on the last day to stave off relegation.
