Juventus Academy Ghana Detains A Scammer As Part Of A Recent Crackdown On Imposters

There have been multiple instances of people being conned by fraudulent businesses posing as Juventus Academy Ghana, ever since the international football giant Juventus Academy began operations in Ghana under the name Juventus Academy Ghana.

Under the guise of Juventus Academy Ghana, Alfred Agorgovi was captured by Ghanaian police on June 27. He was apprehended while trying to con an obliging victim of GHS 37,000.

Alfred Agorgovi allegedly approached a man posing as a representative of Juventus Academy Ghana and demanded money in exchange for fictitious promises of player recruiting and training chances. Luckily, the intended victim became suspicious and informed the police. Agorgovi was apprehended by police during the attempted transaction at a remote Accra area with lightning speed. It is admirable that the concerned individual reported this questionable actions

It is anticipated that the suspect, who is presently being held by the Airport Police Station, will be charged with impersonation and fraud. Authorities urge anyone with knowledge to come forward as they are looking into the possibility of more casualties. The brand director of Juventus Academy Ghana, Bernard Kafui Sokpe, stated in an interview that the school is working closely with the police cyber unit to take action against these scammers, and that additional arrests are expected in the near future.
