Midfielder Enoch Morrison Leaves Asante Kotoko – Reports

Enoch Morrison, a midfield player, has had his contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko terminated after two seasons.

Morrison’s departure, according to the club’s former spokesman Obed Acheampong, is the result of manager Prosper Ogum not having the player in his plans for the upcoming campaign.

Though an official statement from the team is still awaited, the former King Faisal player will be adding his name to an increasing list of people leaving. After the 2023–2024 season, he will be the 20th player to depart.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Kotoko formally discharged 11 players and added seven more the next day.

Among those let go was Steven Mukwala, the club’s lucky man, who declined to extend his contract before it ended at the end of the regular season.

Among those freed are John Tedeku, Augustine Agyapong, George Mfegue, Danlad Ibrahim, Mohammed Sherif, Serge Eric Zeze, and George Mfegue.
