Saani Daara: It Will Be Challenging For Otto Addo To Pass Over Andre Ayew In The Black Stars Call-Ups.

The ex-director of communications for the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saanie Daara, has said that Black Stars coach Otto Addo will find it extremely challenging to leave captain Andre Dede Ayew out of his starting lineup.

Because of the Black Stars’ recent results, Andre Ayew has encountered difficulties.

The Black Stars have exited the group stages of both the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the previous two AFCON tournaments under his captaincy.

Saanie Daara argues that it will be extremely tough for the national team to move away from Andre Ayew at this moment, despite some supporters believing it’s time.

Saanie Daara thinks there is more that 34-year-old Andre Ayew can give, despite the fact that he has scored five goals in the French Ligue 1 this season and has one goal nominated for Goal of the Season.

“To think that Andre Ayew is able to produce such a goal that wins the Goal of the Month award in the French top-flight shows that he has more to offer,” the former GFA spokesperson wrote in a post on X. Fantastic work, Capi.”

“This will be hard for Otto Addo to ignore in his Black Stars call-ups,” he stated.

In the upcoming weeks, Ghana’s coach Otto Addo is anticipated to announce the team that will play Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
