The three-time world champion Azumah Nelson has stepped up his training in anticipation of his fight on Saturday, May 4, 2024, against Irchad Razaaly, the EU ambassador to Ghana.
The exhibition battle is one of the events planned to celebrate EU Month in May and will take place at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
The fight, with the theme “Diplo-Rumble: Empowering Youth Through Sports,” aims to promote youth empowerment through sports while highlighting the talent of Bukom’s young fighters.
The 65-year-old Ghanaian boxing icon has returned to the gym in advance of the fight in order to get ready.
