Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah takes time out of his hectic schedule to pay a visit to Abedi Pele.
The two former Ghana leaders spent time together reminiscing about their successful playing days.
Both Appiah and Abedi Pele are respected in Ghana for their enormous contributions to the Black Stars during their playing careers.
Abedi Pele was a member of Ghana’s last Africa Cup of Nations winning team in 1982, while Appiah is the first Black Stars captain to qualify the four-time African champions for the World Cup.
At separate points in their careers, both players captained the senior national team.
Abedi Pele is also well-known throughout the continent, having won the continent’s player of the year award three times.
In France, he is considered as a cult figure by fans of Olympique Marseille, whom he assisted in winning the UEFA Champions League in 1993.
Meanwhile, Appiah is a fan favourite in Turkey thanks to the legacy he left at Fenerbache, and he was also a fan favourite of Italian giants Juventus.
