After a scoreless draw in the first leg of the tie, the Egyptians advanced to the final by a 3-0 aggregate.

In the 12th and 27th minutes, respectively, Hamza Mathlouthi and Samson Akinyoola scored goals for Zamalek SC. Mostafa Shalaby’s third goal in the 59th minute ended the match.

Dreams had a perfect home record in the competition, with three victories and one tie.
