Afrobeat artist Fameye declined to reveal how much he won from his appearance at the church of Reverend Obofour, but revealed what he got could be bought from the newly released iPhone 11 Pro.
On September 28, the’ Noting I Get’ hit maker performed in the Anointed Palace Chapel at the wedding ceremony of a junior pastor of the famous televangelist.
The ceremony’s videos showed Rev Obofour pouring cash on Fameye publicly.
Rev. Obofour is known for his collaboration with secular musicians like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Fameye, the latest addition to the list.
When asked on Onua FM Friday how much he was paid at the wedding ceremony for the performance, the musician said he didn’t charge the famous televangelist, but he eventually got some sum for the gig.
” I know he [Rev. Obofour] likes my songs and has always been hyping me and so I didn’t see the need to charge him for performing in his church”, he told Dr Prekese, host of Onua FM drive time, “Efie Ne Fie”.
Fameye is currently promoting his new single “TGIF”.
