Gospel Musician KODA Has Passed Away.

It has recently come to light that Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, better known by his stage name “KODA,” was a gospel artist from Ghana.

According to reports, a family-close source confirmed the information.

He fought a brief illness before passing away in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Metro TV Ghana.

According to additional information provided by attractivemustapha.com, the gifted and award-winning artist had been suffering from kidney disease for a considerable amount of time.

“KODA, celebrated for his uplifting melodies and soulful compositions, has left an indelible mark on the Ghanaian music scene. With hits like ‘Nsempii,’ ‘Nkwa Abodoo,’ ‘Yapai,’ and ‘Adorso’ to his credit, his music resonated deeply with audiences, inspiring hope and faith,” the report said.

He was 45.

Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist Kofi Owusu Dua Anto (KODA) was a resident of Takoradi in the country’s western region.

Celebrated as one of the key sounds of Ghana’s significant modern gospel music, multiple award-winning singer KODA was committed to spreading the gospel and using music production to influence other artists’ sounds and directions.

In addition to the late Danny Nettey, Ps. Joe Beechem, Nii Okai, Halal Afrika, Eugene Zuta, and others, he created music for them.

Three studio albums, two live albums, and two instrumental/jazz albums make up KODA’s discography.

It was his sixth vocal album, “Keteke.”

Popular gospel songs like “Nkwaa Abodo,” “Nsem Pii,” “Adooso,” and “Hossana” have made him well-known.

“Poma Dadaa,” “Amen,” and “Zion Song” are few others.
